Alec Bradley American Classic Toro is everything a cigar should be - well made, perfectly blended, and surprisingly affordable. These stogies start with a seldom-used Honduran Connecticut seed wrapper leaf, which adds cream, toast, and a little bit of peppery spice. Underneath this leathery, silky leaf is two binder leaves - one from Honduras and one from Nicaragua, as well as Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. This blend makes for a balanced, bready smoke with noticeable notes of coffee, cream, and a nice pepper kick on the finish. These mild-to-medium-bodied beauties burn with the best of them, holding staggeringly long ashes and drawing effortlessly from start to finish.
