To check out Will K.'s review of this stogie on our blog click here The original Brick House brand was named after J.C. Newman’s childhood home and was a Cuban puro. Today’s incarnation is made by his grandchildren, Eric and Bobby Newman, with all-Nicaraguan tobaccos, including a dark, oily Havana Subido wrapper leaf. These stogies are sweet, spicy, and complex with notes of red pepper, cocoa, and maple syrup, along with an incredibly even burn and effortless draw. Their meticulous blending and dynamite construction earned the Robusto size a 92 rating in Cigar Aficionado, and for as low as $4.28 a stick, you truly can’t go wrong.

Brick House Robusto

I'm no expert but probably the smoothest cigar I've ever smoked. No harshness from beginning to end. Remarkably consistent. Great medium bodied cigar

Customer Questions

does brick house make a maduro cigar

While Brick House does not make an actual "Maduro" cigar, all Brick House cigars currently are Nicaraguan puros (made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco). They feature a sungrown Havana Subido wrapper. Nicaragua is known to produce some of the richest, spiciest, most complex tobacco in the world. The Sungrown wrapper, while not as dark as a Maduro, is a darker, more flavorful leaf in comparison to lighter wrappers, such as a Natural or Connecticut. If you are looking for a nice robust, medium-to-full-bodied smoke, Brick House would be a solid choice.
