The original Brick House brand was named after J.C. Newman’s childhood home and was a Cuban puro. Today’s incarnation is made by his grandchildren, Eric and Bobby Newman, with all-Nicaraguan tobaccos, including a dark, oily Havana Subido wrapper leaf. These stogies are sweet, spicy, and complex with notes of red pepper, cocoa, and maple syrup, along with an incredibly even burn and effortless draw. Their meticulous blending and dynamite construction earned the Robusto size a 92 rating in Cigar Aficionado, and for as low as $4.28 a stick, you truly can’t go wrong.

Fast draw but good robusto

This is a good robusto even though it doesn't look it. Well constructed cigar holds ash very well. But the loose draw turns me a bit off and prevents me from buying a box. Taste is good and develops over time.
