If you crave the spicy, unique flavor of Ligero tobaccos but find Cain and Cain F a bit too strong, the Cain Daytona series just might be the smoke for you. Made with an oily Nicaraguan Habano wrapper and filler from the Jalapa Valley region of Nicaragua, Cain Daytona is Cain's first medium-bodied cigar, and the first full line offering from Oliva Cigar Co.’s new branch, Studio Tobac. Cain Daytona boasts the smooth and toasty flavor of Jalapa Valley tobacco while drawing a bit of spice from the Habano wrapper, which is purportedly a much milder version of the one used on the previous Cain blends. Notes of butterscotch and cream truly stand out in this smoke, while a hint of pepper keeps it at the medium-bodied level.
The Cain Daytona is a tasty, reliable smoke for those who like a stronger cigar. Comparable to the old Rocky Patel Edge.
