Named for its rarely-used filler leaves from the Benevenuto region of Italy, CAO Italia is a different kind of full-bodied smoke. These dark-wrapped beauties are complex and heady with notes of cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, and spicy red pepper. And need I mention the construction? After all, it’s made by CAO, the guys who draw-test every one of their cigars before releasing them to the public. If you like your stogies strong, unique, and solidly-rolled, the CAO Italia is not one that you want to miss.
My first 3 cigars I smoked right out of the box did not smoke well... seemed to be that the tobacco had too much humidity. I let them "rest" in my humidor a few weeks and they are where they should be; great flavor and they burn well. The Italia's are always a great cigar so I think this was just an anomaly. I'd always recommend the Italia, it's one of my go to cigars.

This cigar isn't the best I've ever had but worth the money spent.

My favorite smoke! Never disappoints! Full flavor and consistent burn. Add Italia to your rotation!

My first exposure to CAO was a 4 pack, one of which was Italia. Learning that the tobaccos are from seeds obtained in Cuba 40 years + ago I began to realize why the Italia is so good to me. It's not a harsh or bitter cigar, it's just one that has distinct and solid flavor to me. I've outgrown most of the less "potent" 'gars like some Connecticut's that although are good, they don't quite have the punch I prefer. Having Italian lineage in my blood I may be sensing some Garlic too!! : >)
I'm not 100% certain yet ( jury is still out ) but I think the CAO Italia is my #1 choice
