Made at the same factory as Montecristo, H. Upmann, and Romeo y Julieta, Casa de Garcia is not your typical bundled cigar. These are made with long leaves from the Dominican Republic and Honduras, along with either buttery Connecticut, chocolaty maduro, or rich Sumatra wrapper leaves for a sub-$2 smoke that won’t leave a bad taste in your mouth. Expect clean flavors, a remarkable burn, and long ashes from these affordable beauties.
Tried these and found the taste to be excellent. Not too mild and not too strong. They have become my go to favorite. Only problem I find is a tendency to be inconsistently rolled. Sometimes just right but occasionally too tight. A little work with a needle solves that, though it does cause some uneven burning. The other problem is with the wrapper cracking or splitting. But I put that blame on the poor way BCP stores and ships. My cigars, regardless of brand, have a tendency to arrive dried out and in need of refreshing for several weeks or more before they burn properly and keep their wrappers intact. But these Garcia's are so tasty that I will put up with that.
