How Cigars Are Flavored


There are two primary methods for imbuing certain flavors in cigars. First, there is the more direct method of applying a syrup or similar flavored solution directly onto the tobacco. The other method involves placing tobacco leaves among aromatic items, like barrels of cognac or bourbon, during the fermentation process. This allows the tobacco to naturally absorb the essence of these surroundings and adopt some of their flavor.
