Medium in body, Cusano P1 cigars are handmade in the Dominican Republic. Rolled using a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper over Dominican filler, these tasty bundled smokes offer awesome, smooth, and deep flavor at an affordable price.
Didn't care for them.

While Maduros are chook full of flavor I've learned to beware of the cheaper ones. Maduro wrappers are fragile and tend to chip and unravel. The more expensive cigars take more care with this issue.

A darker smoke, yet still smooth

I decided to try the P1 because my favorite cigar, the Cusano M1 Corona, was sold out, The P1 was a pretty good smoke, but the maduro leaf was just a bit harsh for my taste, which was used to the Connecticut wrapped M1. Also, the diameter of the P1 seems a tiny bit thinner than the advertised 42 ring size. Altogether, the Cusano P1 was a fairly good substitute for the M1.

I tried this cigar out on a whim - now it is my daily smoker. Great wrapper, good flavor and an excellent price! I'm a maduro fan and these do not disappoint.

I think this is a fine cigar. I am fairly new to the cigar world and so I don't like them too strong.
I feel these are consistent and not too heavy.

Although I think this cigar is pretty good overall, the draw is too long. I like it best after cutting off 1 1/2 inches.

Good average tasting cigar, does the trick to relax me at the end of the day.
