The rustic and earthy Decision Broadleaf cigars are crafted in Tampa, Florida by J.C. Newman using aged Dominican filler tobaccos beneath authentic Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrappers. Rich in flavor and super-affordable, Decision Broadleaf cigars are an excellent choice for maduro-lovers on a budget.
I had such high hopes for this cigar and here is what happened.
The appearance is a mottled cigar with a dark brown maduro colored wrapper with spots that are much darker all over the wrapper. Comes with no label on the plastic so make sure which cigar you are smoking from the assortment that you get shipped if you order by the single stick.
Cutting the cap it broke off and tore down the side and yes, I do know how to do a V-cut.
The cigar had a huge leaf vein and that created a vent in the cigar near the cap. The vein goes down the entire cigar so this would be a second level cigar on it's very best day.
Due to a very hard draw I did a second V-cut and it still has a very tough draw. So tough it is hard to taste the cigar from all the effort.
It started with a very uneven burn and while I stopped the runners on the burn, they continue to try and run down the cigar.
I gave the cigar a full cut and the draw did not improve much.
After smoking this fully, it had little flavor and I would not buy it again. There are so many great cigars for less money and who knows, I could have just gotten a bad one, but it's the only one I have to base my opinion on. Great burn time though, lol.

I was tipped off to Decision Broadleaf by a buddy who swears by em. Wasnt expecting much for the price and boy was I wrong. Im a big maduro guy and these had better flavor then cigars i have bought that cost twice as much. Good buy for sure, earthy is a good description
