Definitely my favorite clove cigar on the market, although I do miss the original Djarum Specials in the 20-pack that was "outlawed" as a flavored cigarette back in 2009... nicknamed by tobacco insiders as the "Marlboro Monopoly Act."

Djarum’s have a flavor that nothing else matches. Smother than most cigars with a light sweet hint that is left upon the lips. I’ve ordered this product many time and it never shows up stale or crushed.

Not as much
Cloves tasted like cloves and a cigarette tasted like a tobacco smoke , now I just can’t find that true flavor I once grown accustomed to in these Djarum. But it’s as good as it gets for what it is.

I started smoking Djarum Special kreteks over 30 years ago and loved them. I smoke Djarum Special cigars now because kreteks are no longer available in the U.S. I like these cigars but sure wish they tasted like cloves. Specials are my favorite of all the Djarum's available.
