It's Don Pepin... The cigar is great!

This is a beautiful cigar with a timelessly tasteful double-band that suggests the quality of the smoke to follow. That can be misleading, but not in this case. Pre-light you'll notice an earth and barnyard aroma. Once fired, the typically Pepin pepper blast settles down and allows earth, coffee and hints of cedar and leather to take their places on your palate. This is not a truly complex cigar, but it is a flavorful one. It also has lots of body, while I'd rate it's strength/intensity as medium-full. It has a satisfying finish. Burn and draw have always been good whenever I've smoked these, and I've smoked quite a few. It is a good go-to smoke when you just want to grab a reliable, tasty stick without having to worry about flavor or burn/draw issues. I'll smoke many more, given the opportunity. Box worthy? Oh man, yes indeed!

Can never go wrong with a Pepin. JJ is a solid stick that can be an everyday or special occasion smoke.

I am very fond of the My Father cigars on general. The Pepe is great as expected.

This is the first time I have ever written a review on a cigar, but this is one of the best I have had ( even Cubans)!

This is a pretty decent cigar. It was a worth the try but I probably wouldn’t purchase again.
