Handmade at Pepin Garcia's My Father tabacalera in Nicaragua, Tobacos Baez are medium-bodied mixed-filler cigars named for the Cuban city where Pepin was born. These budget-priced puros are blended with 70% Cuban-seed Nicaraguan longfiller, 30% short-filler, and rolled in Nicaraguan Habano wrappers. The smoke is rich and smooth, laced with notes of cocoa, a subtle hint of coffee and a dash of pepper on the finish.
This is a very good smoke for the price. Good flavor and no real issues with the burn. I prefer smaller ring gauge for AT cigars.

if you come to my man cave top floor with heater , zebra skin, deer head , pheasant trophys etc. your notice the empty many many boxes of green . I really don't want to say how this is the #1 cigar from don pepin that is low low price. I don't want the word to get out. this is my go to cigar . the best SF on the market. I have had all the DOn pepin cigars . all great .ofcourse I'm a big don pepin fan. He still rolls many and chances are he rolled one of these . he is the most interesting man in the world.

Not a expert by any means but the 30% short filler didn’t seem to hurt the burn or flavor at all.
