Voted #13 Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 cigars of 2015! Erik Espinosa’s Laranja (Portuguese for “Orange”) Reserva takes its name from its vibrant Brazilian wrapper leaf which has a unique and distinct, orange hue to its natural color. But the uniqueness of this excellent Nicaraguan-made cigar doesn’t end there - the Laranja presents one of the most colorful flavor profiles ever to hit our humidor, with tones of hickory sweetness, peppery spice, rich almond paste, espresso, and, yes, orange citrus. Strong in body and striking in taste, if you like an engaging and adventurous smoke, Laranja Reserva should be your next conquest.
This cigar was a pleasant puff. The first minute or two it seemed somewhat sharp, but then it settled down to a nice flavorful smoke.
