Drew Sun Grown

Wanted to try these without buying a bundle. All five of these smoked perfectly. The sun grown is a fine taste all the way to the nub consistently. Not my favorite Drew estate smoke but liked them enough to purchase a bundle. When I only have an hour or so to kill these sun grown are my go to.

A great stick for the price...

I stumbled across these one time when I was looking for a new everyday cigar. My previous everyday cigars were having stocking issues and so I needed something more reliable. I ordered a bundle of these and gave them a try. I was very impressed with these sticks upon my first smoke.
Now, let me be clear. These are not high-end smokes they are generic smokes made by Drew Estates. You have to read this review within the context of what these are. These are outstanding bargin cigars. There are way better cigars out there, but those come with a matching price tag. These bargin cigars, for the price of them are the best I have ever had when compared with other bargin cigars. They have excellent construction and burn well and evenly. They light well and stay lit. This particular incarnation has a sungrown wrapper (other wrappers are available) have a decent, full, though not complex, flavor that is consistent from stick to stick. I find no subtle notes in these they are simply a full flavor, but not bitey bargin smoke. You cannot go wrong with these for a basic everyday smoke.

Decent smoke

A good smoke most of the time. I had trouble with a few of these breaking open. I think the binder was not done right. When built right, they were nice.

A little loose on the roll!

I am not really happy with these Factory Smokes overall. They are fine on the flavor end, but the loose roll makes for uneven burning and inconsistent draw.

Solid Smoke

This is a good quality smoke for a great price. Maybe it's not a special occasion cigar, but it is a damn good every day burner!
