Using a precise blend recipe of vintage tobaccos, the Gran Habano Gran Reserva 2010 #5 puts a twist of rich refinement on the legendary Corojo #5 cigar.
With a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper harvested in 2005 spun around a 2005 Habano binder and Habano fillers plucked from the country's top growing regions in 2003 and 2004, this carefully-crafted puro matches its formidable strength with exceptional smoothness. Prepare to be carried away in a gentle, steady flood of earthy, savory, and zesty flavor.
Let me start by saying that this is truly an excellent cigar! When you see a 7 x 70 for the first time, it might throw you off. It is a HUGE cigar. A cigar of this size can take 2-3 hours to smoke. It is perfect for a movie. However, when you get past the size, I feel it is one of the best cigars I have ever smoked. I am about halfway through my box now. Flavor and performance has been very consistent. It starts out with a lot of pepper in the beginning but then smooths out. You start to taste coffee and just a small hint of nuttiness. In fact, I like to pair it with an espresso. Like most large cigars, it does not burn perfectly even but that is about physics and not quality. For those who like to see how long of an ash they can produce, this will do it! I give this cigar an excellent grade and will definitely be ordering another box!

My next door neighbor gave me a Gran Habano Gran Reserva #5 2010 while we watched the NBA Finals and it was a great smoke, it held it's construction. I suggest you get this smoke.
