Graycliff is one of the finest cigars on the market, period. The man behind these stogies is master blender Avelino Lara, who created the original Cuban Cohiba brand, and it shows. Graycliff cigars are meticulously rolled in the Bahamas with only the best tobaccos from the farthest corners of the globe, including Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Greece, Honduras, Indonesia, Mexico, Nicaragua, and the Philippines, just to name a few. The result of this painstaking blend selection is nothing short of perfect, regardless of which one you choose. Graycliff Original, as the name might suggest, was the first line from the prestigious brand. These stogies are made with Indonesian wrappers and binders, along with Brazilian, Dominican, Honduran, and Nicaraguan fillers. This intricate blend makes for a complex and subtle smoke with nuances of leather, roasted nuts, rich spices, and some cream on the finish.
Can't say I enjoy these smokes, the draw is so light and the smoke so thin it is almost like pulling air through a straw. Fortunately friends of mine like the light draw and flavor so I save them for when I have visitors.
