Love these cigars
By Willaim on May 2, 2019
Had one of these at my local cigar club. It was recommended to me because I keep coming back to Gloria Cubana and feel guilty that I don't try enough variety. Having recently fallen in love with the new Gloria Esteli Nicaraguans, my club manager told me the E. P. Carillo story and recommended this cigar. In the first few puffs I thought to myself "wow, this tastes like a Nicaraguan, even though it's marked Dominican." Later I find out it's got Nicaraguan fillers and binders, so I was right. I LOVE the construction: it's rough-looking and very tight, but draws like a dream and produces perfect ash. I LOVE the brassy, loud, full-bodied, attention-grabbing, ever-shifting flavors of Nicaraguan tabaccos. High nicotine, so I spent about 3 hours with it, purging and relighting it several times, and it responded perfectly. This cigar kicks b**t and a box is on my shopping list!
