Isla del Sol is my favorite every day cigar. For the price, the consistency, construction, draw and quality of flavor are tops. They are a mild plus cigar and have a light sweetness/coffee flavor. Nothing that is overwhelming or off putting. I can and do smoke these every day.

I have been smoking cigars for about 2 years now. I ran across the Gran Carona size of this cigar at my local cigar store and really liked it. I started buying from BCP because they carried the Isla del Sol, and they also had different sizes. Since then I have tried all of the sizes. I I like the Toro length, and the flavor of the cigar. It is my cigar of choice for an everyday cigar due to it's great flavor, and the economical price. I like the draw, but the burn is not great. The flavor is good as well.

This is my go to daily cigar.

My choice for a daily cigar is the Isla Del Sol By Drew Estates. Not only is the price doable without costing your next male child, but I love the coffee flavor that sticks around until the end. I prefer the Toro size but I have tried them all. The wrapper sometimes seems a little fragile, but it could be from me mistreating them. All and all you can't go wrong.

My Every Day Smoke

Good Cigar - This shipment was a bit dry

This is a wonderfully smelling mild tasting cigar. It's my regular mainstay and I can enjoy a relaxing smoke. The last order I received, however, was a bit disappointing as the cigars were cracking a bit as if they were dry. I placed them immediately in my humidor and it took some time to restore them but they eventually came back for the most part. That being said it won't keep me from ordering them again.

Great Cigar (Even better at the price)

Sweet and tasty throughout the cigar, very much like having dessert. For a couple of years my wives go to cigar has been CAO Moontrance in a petite corona...that's just about how much she wants of it. A while back I bought her the Java Latte and they loved it. First big cigar that I could remember her finishing and asking to get some more. The Isla Del Sol hit the same spot for her (and me) at a more reasonable price.

Towards the last couple of inches both of us had some burn issues, but hopefully some time in the humidor will fix that. However, with the toro you still get a lot of cigar for the price and if you need to toss it a little early it's still a bargain.

Soooo Good!

I absolutely love these cigars. I originally tried them because I love the tabak especial dulce, and I heard that these were a short leave filler of the same cigar. Well the flavor is slightly different but still excellent! I just put in my third order. The cigar remains mild to medium throughout the entire smoke. Easily an hour and fifteen minute experience. Tons of smoke, great smell, incredible flavor. I will continue to order again and again.

I just got these for the first time. The instant you light up you get a refreshing taste of mocha coffee. I think it's more like a vanilla but the taste does not distract from the mildness of this cigar. The wrapping stays in contact throughout the smoke and is well made for the selling price.The cigar burns evenly.I'm a fan of the Punch After Dinner, Montecristo, for a more formal smoke but for everyday or casual smokes, I like these the best!I'm very happy Best Cigar offered these as a special trial discount price last week.

Drew Estate has always made good cigars, though somewhat pricey. This is probably the best kept secret. If you buy Java, coffee infused, you'll pay a pretty penny. Try the Isla Del Sol. Also coffee infused, fraction of the price, and is my go to cigar. Has been for a long, long time. Delicious flavor, even the tip is flavored. Burns perfectly, not harsh, no bite at all. Hate to tell people about this, because it will be out of stock more often now...

This is a very good cigar for the price point. However last box I got has been hit and miss. Have burned 7 from it. 2 burned uneven and 1 flaked so bad after cutting I just threw in the fireplace. I burn through @ 3 boxes a year of these alone on the golf course. This is just an unusual box for sure. Mellow flavor and a 100% purchase for a newer cigar burner. Grab them and don’t look back.

Great everyday cigar

For those who like a little flavor infused in a cigar (and I know many don't) Isla Del Sol is a great choice for your staple. It has just a little sweetness and a creamy coffee-like flavor that lasts to the end. I often smoke it down to the nub. I like most of the Drew Estate products and this is among the most affordable of them. The only negative i have is that they sometimes canoe (burn unevenly.) Very mild, no bite, but full of flavor and an aroma that anyone who doesn't hate cigars finds pleasing.

If you are looking for a cheap, well made, and flavorful cigar look no further. Drew has hit the nail on the head with this heavenly piece. The draw at the beginning is not overly strong but its just enough for you to work your way into the 1st 1/3. After the first 1/3 of the cigar it opens up and the coffee flavor takes over. This is a good cigar FOR THE PRICE. It has the taste of a decent cigar with that little sweetness of the coffee infusion.
This burns fairly quick compared to a Tabak wich is a really good quality cigar but, you will pay more than double price wise. These are good for a daily smoker and the Tabak is my go to for more quality.
Isla Del Sol packs a lot of flavor for a very reasonable price.

I really like this cigar. Because of the cost I don't smoke then everyday. My every day smoke is 0ba oba. I like the sweetness and mild taste. I would recommend the Isla del sol to anyone who not in to harsh strong taste. It well made and smokes easy

Sweet smokey goodness!

I like sweet cigars! This is a sweet one and thats about it. No pepper. No wood. Just sweet, chocolately goodness. Reminds me of a Tabak but at half the price. The construction is not as good but the flavor is very similar. One my favorites.
