A departure from Joya de Nicaragua's usual intense ligeros and thick wrapper leaves, the Joya Red is blended with more visos and lower priming Habano wrappers for a bit more subtlety to accompany its lush, medium-bodied flavor. Sporting a rich interior blend of tobaccos from the fertile soils of Estelí, Jalapa and Condega, Joya Red is a masterfully balanced Nicaraguan puro providing a refreshing smoke with medium strength and captivating taste.
Wow! Great value cigar that is really tasty. Tasting notes of cedar and pepper that improves as you smoke the cigar. Great smoke for the golf course too! All home humidors should be stocked with a box of these.

Maybe the name played tricks on my palate but it tasted a little like cinnamon gum only milder, like after its been chewed for a while. It also has nice pepper & earth notes with hints of sweetness. Very enjoyable & a bargain too.
