While La Perla Habana is not widely-known for producing budget smokes, their Classic line sets a new standard for the affordable cigar. These stogies are handmade in Honduras with Indonesian wrapper leaves, Ecuadorian binders, and Honduran, Dominican, and Nicaraguan filler leaves. This produces a toasty, sweet, medium-bodied smoke with notes of earth and pepper and a strikingly clean finish. Don't let the price tag fool you - this is a top-shelf smoke at a bottom-dollar price.
This is an incredibly good cigar; price point makes it fantastic everyday smoke!

Well, Chaps, and Chapesses, where to begin. Along with the Casa, we ordered these for the club on account of the rating awarded above, and the astonishing price, for an every day smoke when in the confines of ones own lodgings.
We cannot but feel sympathy for the poor fellow at La Perla whom, no doubt in our mind, is currently the subject of a prolonged, and no doubt public, horse-whipping. How else did these fine sticks ever make it from the factory at tuppence a stick. Perhaps they were on work placement and some fellow was off sick; who knows. What we do know is this is our good fortune.
On a box of twenty-five, well rested following shipment to the Far-East, we can confirm that the construction, considering the price, was sufficient, granted a little unravelling for those sneaking beyond the stocking, and an above mild taste. Indeed, the burn up until the banding was completely uniform in most cases; rarely seen in this price range.
Whilst by no means complex, the flavour was good, verging on spice with a little after sweetness.
Certainly one to reorder.
