Frank. Down under.
This is a very smokable cigar and good value for the money. Like some of you I also cut these in half and get two 4-inch smokes. My preferred brand for these are cheaper but stack up well against the better-known brand. La Unica is a little sharper, but still a mellow smoke. I find myself smoking these until the bitter end, always a good sign in a cigar. Not only are these good economical smokes, but the box is great too.

Great smoke
My son and I used to smoke Cohiba;s every Sunday. Then someone put me on to these and we never looked back. Very smooth and smokes evenly. The best bang for the buck.

A Good Contender
I have been searching for a pleasant, economical, mild cigar to be an occasional foil cf. my medium/full Nicaraguan standbys - Oliva Serie V Churchill Extras and Padron Maduro Magnums.
To that end, I have now smoked the first three of my recent box of Dominican La Unica #100 Naturals. So far, they have exhibited good construction, even burn with easy draw and good smoke volume, pleasant non-complex retrohale and taste, and have done a good job of ticking the mild box.
If the others of this box turn out to be as consistent and smooth as the first three, there is a regular place in my humidor for such as these.

Great cigar for the golf course. Smooth taste. A very enjoyable smoke. The only issue is with the outer wrapper. The last two boxes I’ve purchased the outer wrappers tend to want to come loose in spots. Even with the wrapper issue I will continue to purchase themselves cigars.
