A limited edition blend inspired by Hoyo de Monterrey, Crowned Heads Mil Días Des Deux EL 2025 is a love letter to a now-defunct Cuban cigar.

“A friend introduced me to a cigar from the Cuban Hoyo de Monterrey portfolio called, Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo Des Dieux,” said Crowned Heads founder, Jon Huber in a press release. “That cigar was discontinued in 2014. Ever since then, l’ve had that cigar in the back of my mind and was always looking for the right opportunity to put the Crowned Heads spin on that vitola.”

The vitola Jon’s gushing over is a 6 1/8” x 42 and both the Ecuadorian Habano and Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper options of Des Deux are rolled to its specifications. The core blend remains the same for both—Ecuadorian Habano binder and Nicaraguan leaves from Condega, Jalapa, and Ometepe. Expect layers of peppers, leather and wood with spicy undertones from the Habano option, and sweeter, earthier flavors from the Maduro.
