Excellent Maduro
Punch Elites are a great smoke for a good price. I love the oscuro Connecticut wrapper. The burn is even and the taste is like a Chocolate desert.

Punch Elites Double Maduro
I am a big supporter of Punch products, and have been buying and ordering on-line for many years. However, while I like a stronger cigar, the double Maduro in the Elites, and Dinner label, became to strong for me. Not a bad product, I'll just stick with Maduro instead.
The only downside I find with the Punch products in general is that I usually find one or two that are considerably hard in a box, making them impossible for a good draw, and become a complete waste.

my every day smoke
I've smoked theses cigars every day for years so obviously I do like them, I have one come apart on me from time to time but for the most part a fresh good cigar is what I expect & receive from Punch

My NEW favorite cigar ... at least for this week !!!
When I saw that Punch was selling their Elites in a double maduro at such a bargain price, I had to jump on it. As you can see by my "handle", I'm a real fan of cigars wrapped in a maduro leaf, but when there are TWO maduro leaves ... well ... there's no going back.
When I received the box and opened it, I noticed something that I've seen on only one other cigar in my 40+ years of smoking cigars: "salt" crystals. They were predominately located under the band, but were definitely salty tasting. Combine that salty flavor with the sweetness associated with a maduro leaf and it was a terrific combination.
If you are fond of maduro-wrapped cigars, I suggest that you waste no time and buy a box of them while the price is so low. You will not be disappointed !!!
