Tambor Dominicano is a great affordable every day cigar. The superb construction ensures an excellent draw every time. The rare combination of Dominican, Brazilian and Nicaraguan tobacco gives this cigar a medium strength adding a bit of spice to the flavor. Tambor Dominicano cigars are entirely hand made in Honduras with your choice of three different wrappers: Cameroon, Connecticut, and Maduro.
This was my first order with BCP so I was kind of testing the waters. I am happy to report the service at BCP was outstanding! I had no quality issues and they shipped my order the same day I placed it. The package arrived as scheduled.
I'm cannot claim to an aficionado but I do know an enjoyable cigar when I smoke one — especially considering the price point, these are an enjoyable cigar.
After smoking one of these almost daily, while walking my dogs, I'm happy to report the burn has been even and the draw has been good, on the entire first bundle going into the second.
The flavor starts out a bit mild but quickly gains some gusto after smoking the first inch or so.

Mellow with an easy draw. I have to set my smoke down a lot, and it seems to maintain the burn pretty well.

They were not what I expected - they burn uneven and seem to burn fast and hot. You have to suck pretty hard to get smoke - mostly air when you puff normal. Will not buy again.

Good flavor. I got two bundles and one I did have to let dry out a couple days before putting in the humidor, the other bundle was just fine. But to me, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'd rather have to let a stogie dry than have it crumble in my hands, right? Nice smoke billow, full, easy to draw. I will buy again.

These Maduros have nice body and generally good draw, though I find that fairly regularly one of them will be packed so tightly that they do not burn well and become center-fired if you know what I mean. Overall, though for the price, I have no problem with the small difficulties.

Was a bad burning cigar, until I left it out of the humidor for a few days. Then burn was pretty good and flavors started to appear, although not much flavor. Fortunately bcp cs will cover your back if ya have trouble. They are the best -not the cigars - the customer service!
