Surprisingly good bargin brand cigar

I'll note the negatives first, the favor would be somewhat debatable, as its by far one of the sweetest cigars I've ever smoked, and that sweetness only dies down from 20 minutes of smoking, to the point where i believed they soaked the tobacco in sugar water or something. However, everything else was perfect, has the hallmarks of any premium cigar, all without the premium price tag

Kickin' a bit less

In recent years these Trader Jack's have become my favorite. The first pack of my 2 most recent purchases measures up superbly in every way but one. Immediately upon opening the (really nice) resealable package I could from first whiff that the "aromatic cigars lightly spiced with the flavors of the Caribbean" weren't quite the delicious aroma of the past. They are less spicy than any I've ever had, so that detracts just a bit from the overall flavored smoke. Still my favorite though.

Great cigar for the price

This is one of the little gems you find once in a while as me and my friend say this is a great fishing or yard work cigar bud to the price. I keep at least 29 in my humidor at all time to share and enjoy.

Tasty!

Not an expensive cigar. It uses a copped filler, but the smoking is smooth and mild. One plus is that these cigars do not turn rancid when out and may be relit even several hours later yielding a pleasing smoke. I will continue buying them as long as they are available.

Sweet Cigar!!

These cigars are an incredible deal! I can't believe how smooth they taste the whole way through! It never gets bitter or harsh tasting. They smell really good too in the package. The best (low cost) cigars

I don't know what they do to make these as good as they are for this price, but this is my daily smoke. They're good for about 40-45 minutes. The flavor is sweet and spicy. I guess they're technically a flavored cigar, but the flavors are mild and will last you the entire stick (cocoa, vanilla, cognac and...a spice I can't name.

I have $10-$25 cigars laying around because I won't smoke them if there's any Trader Jacks in the house. The only thing more perfect than the aroma if the actual experience of smoking one of these. They're not a tight roll, but it's just right, not too hot or too cold. The zip-locked 20-pack keeps these moist until the last smoke.

Great bargain. Great smoke. Great American company.

Long Time Cigar Smoker

I just got my 1st bag. WOW! I regularly smoke medium to bold $2-4$ cigars and this cigar is such a nice change from those blah Dominican/Nicaraguan smokes. A great daily, inexpensive stick

My wife and I both smoke these when we want a flavored, mild smoke. They are great with a medium bodied ale or a good light lager.
They are a little rough on construction, and occasionally one will canoe while burning. For the price and flavor, one stick out of several not being perfect is worth it.

Wow! I stumbled on these cigars while buying my usual smokes and thought, "What the heck. For that price, I'll try them". Not Worth It – Even at $27.00

First one I pulled out of the bag had a tree branch sticking out of it. Next two were filled with concrete and un-smokable. The fourth fell apart after I lit it.
As for the remaining 16, not sure as the bag went in the garbage.

Not horrible

I’ve smoked 2 so far and the draw is very difficult. Like blowing up an air mattress in reverse, so prepare to be lightheaded. The flavor is good I will say that. Perhaps after they age a bit they’ll be better so I haven’t given up hope. Also be careful opening the bag. The resealable strip on my bag broke so I was unable to reseal after opening.

D**n good cigar

Trade Jack cigars are d**n good cigars. I like the Kuba Kuba cigars but the they are costly. When I tried Trader jacks cigars I liked them right off the bat. They are smooth, and the flavor last thru the entire smoke.The cigar is a loosely wrapped for my taste but it draws well. The appearance is fine to me. The cost is big for me because it is affordable and has a better taste than the more costly flavored cigars.

Try It, You'll Really Like It

i tried Trader Jack only because of the multitude of positive reviews i had read. the first one i tried, i hated! so sickeningly sweet at first taste. however, the sweetness quickly went away, and the smoke was surprisingly good. a mild, easy draw, lots of smoke, and an even burn. mi've smoked over 50 of them and every one has burned evenly! (even my Padrons couldn't boast of that).
it is a perfect morning cigar with my coffee, nd good to smoke at anytime. i love these little cigars. i can't believe just how little they cost! i'd pay much more since they satisfy my taste so much. never have had any issues with flaking either. they may not be "handmade", but who cares as they smoke better than other handmades i have tried. a wonderful everyday smoke. try a package and see for yourself.

Nice smokes! I just picked up a pack of these (more for my wife than me) however, I wanted to try them out. They come in a heavy zip lock bag and were a tad on the moist side but not a big deal. The burn was fairly even and the ash was light (so be careful if you are driving with the window open like I did).. The flavor was pleasant with some hints of rum and perhaps a little mango and spice in the background. The aroma was pleasant as well. .

For the money, these are a great value. I'd definitely recommend these and will absolutely buy them again!

Every day smoke on budget

Good smoke for those on a budget. I rarely have time to smoke an entire cigar so I cut them in half before I fire one up. This stretches how many I have to smoke too. I usually smoke the cut end first and save those with the tip for after the whole ones are gone. The wrapper tends to unravel on the cut ends so I smoke those first instead of putting them in the bag for later. I prefer them very hydrated. The flavor is pleasant. I enjoy chewing on one while riding my motorcycle. I have found that the tobacco color on the wrapper is not very consistent. they have ranged from light to dark. As expected, the darker ones are more robust. Being an aromatic cigar, I recommend these cigars for those starting out with the experience of cigar smoking. The price is a plus for new smokers too.

Fresh and smooth.

Won't find a fresher cigar. Love the seal-type envelope they come in. Used to buy at local smoke shop but it's much cheaper to buy them here. Smooth, pleasant smoke that is worth the price. Great for everyday smoke.
