The story behind Undercrown is almost as epic as the blend itself. This cigar, released in 2011, came about because the torcedores at the Drew Estate factory were smoking so many Liga Privadas that the company was having trouble keeping inventory. They blended Undercrown, which Jonathan Drew calls an “inverse Liga Privada,” to smoke instead, this time using an exceptionally dark Otapan Negro Último Corte wrapper leaf from Mexico. “Último Corte,” meaning “last cut,” refers to the process of delaying the harvest for several weeks in order to bring out the leaf’s natural sweetness.

Love these Undercrown maduros and the price was perfect , nice long smoke with a good ash. They're a mild to medium strength cigar but very smooth , I will definitely order these again...

The Undercrown maduro by Drew Estate,
is a consistent great smoke, with it being medium to full, the flavors are enhancing staring off with a peppery bite and finishing down to a smooth finish with hints of cedar and chocolate,
The Cigar is well rolled and has a smooth touch,as well as an even ash and burns evenly.Great smoke I rate this cigar a 5.(the price is fantastic)
