During the unique creation process of the La Aurora Especiales, roughly 100 retailers who visited La Aurora’s factory in the Dominican Republic over the course of six years sampled and critiqued blends developed by La Aurora master blender Manuel Inoa.

After this extensive testing period, Inoa landed on a precise blend of Cameroon-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador over a Dominican binder and filler leaves from the Dominican Republic and the U.S.A. Medium-full in body, the Especiales reveals tones of honey, caramel, wood, coffee, citrus, nut, leather, and more throughout its slow and satisfying burn.
